Albert-Birkle-Straße

“Architecture is ideally always in direct engagement with the people.”
Richard Meier

In Albert-Birkle-Straße, very close to the Sonnenpark Aigen, which was also planned by Schwarzenbacher Struber Architekten years ago, two new residential buildings with a total of 30 residential units were being built. The project , designed as two separate buildings, as to have smaller proportions to complement and fit in the surroundings.
The stacking of the floors and the resulting offset is characteristic for the appearance of the structures. The outer shell of the structures is formulated by the resulting projections and recesses. This design scheme is further illustrated by the choice of materials, using plaster and timber panels on the façade.
